Brad Carmichael, DVM
Chief Executive Officer

Brad serves as the lead executive and visionary of On Call Solutions. He is also responsible for the budgetary and fiscal management of OCS. With more than seven years as an on call veterinarian, he brings valuable industry experience and a broad network of contacts. He is the owner and practicing veterinarian at Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in McMurray, PA. He was the 2008-09 president of the Ohio State University Veterinary Medicine Alumnae Society, Board of Trustees member and a member of the Ohio State University Teaching Hospital Advisory and Small Animal Practitioner Advancement Boards. He is also a Practice Management lecturer and member of the Accreditation Board at the Pittsburgh Veterinary Technical Institute. Brad is an active member of the AVMA & PAVMA; and serves as a Continuing Education Speaker and Guest Presenter at other Industry Conferences and Meetings. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University (1996), and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine (2000).

Derrick Pittman
Chief Operating Officer

Derrick oversees all day-to-day operations of OCS. His responsibilities include call center operations, process improvement, and new clinic implementation. He brings to OCS a wealth of experience with his diverse portfolio of work. He is a participating member of both the Public Relations and Website Committees with VetPartners. Derrick has a background in e-business, sales, and business development, consulting, project management, and national account management. In addition, he has launched a successful e-magazine and published several books. He is also a volunteer for the Atlanta Humane Society. He is a graduate of Wake Forest University.

Kelly Pittman
Vice President of Sales

Kelly oversees business development for OCS. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing effective sales strategies; managing, mentoring and setting goals for the sales team; and coordinating the company's community involvement. She also oversees all marketing efforts ensuring objectives are met through our marketing team. Her experience provides critical support and account management to client clinics. Kelly's track record of sales success won her Salesperson of the Year at a previous employer, and she has pioneered several successful marketing campaigns that continue to thrive today. She also brings experience in project management, business development and the hospitality and financial services industries. She is an active volunteer for several philanthropic organizations including the Atlanta Humane Society and Atlanta Pet Rescue. She is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

Erin Carmichael
Vice President of Northern Operations

Erin organizes and conducts research on viable markets and partners, implements sales efforts for the northern states, participates in the writing and production of business materials, communicates with team members to coordinate corporate action where necessary. Prior to joining the On Call Solutions team, Erin spent 10 years working as a teacher and a Title I / Federal Programs reading specialist in the Pennsylvania Public School System. Her leadership roles included participation in numerous specialized committees and as an instructor for in-service education and training. A horseman and award winning hunter and jumper rider, Erin also brings a familiarity with the equine / large animal industry. Erin earned her B.A. from Purdue University and received her M.S. at Duquesne University.
